what kind of material is the insole made of? Does it make your feet sweat?

BEST ANSWER: At first glance, it would appear to be a pale blue spongy padded insole -- maybe neoprene, but the inside label says the insole is leather and upon close examination, I would agree. My feet do not sweat in them...but then I live in the Pacific Northwest where it doesn't get very hot.

They are lined with memory foam. I love Jambu shoes I have several pairs and have not had any problems with them. My feet have never sweated in any of them. They are very comfortable!!! People always ask me where I get my shoes. Carol

I think it's man-made. My feet don't sweat; however the black color comes off on my toes. They are a very comfortable shoe, and because the top is stretchy, if your feet swell, it accommodates that very well.

The lining is memory foam. I have not had that problem with any Jambu shoes. They are very comfortable and people always ask me where I get my shoes. I love Jambu shoes!!! Carol
