BEST ANSWER: I think the best choices for a cardigan to complement the Paisley Bella Coola Dress would be: pale blue, teal or coral-rose. (The colors appear a bit lighter in the online photo.) There is a hint of yellow in the pattern, but I do not believe that color would best complement this lovely dress. I often opt to wear a jean jacket with the dress, and I accessorize with turquoise jewelry and boots. I've received many compliments. :)

BEST ANSWER: I am actually returning this dress because I ordered a large and although it fits my DDD, it hangs on me and is not flattering. I really like this dress but honestly, it isn't designed for curves. Very disappointed...
Where can I find the 3/4 sleeve length for the dress? It was mentioned in someone's comment.

BEST ANSWER: I have a couple with the 3/4 sleeve. They seem to be offered in the fall and winter.
I usually wear a 6/8. Does this dress run small or large? Not sure whether to order a S or M.

BEST ANSWER: I typically wear a 10, sometimes an 8. I'm 5'8" and 150#. A Medium fit me quite snugly, and I likely would have kept it as I prefer things fitted, but didn't think the pattern did much for me. As other reviews noted, this short sleeve version runs smaller and shorter than the 3/4 length sleeve versions. (2" in width, approx 3" in length) I had ordered both sleeve versions in M and kept only the 3/4 length due to fabric color and pattern preference.
Does the dress length shrink in the wash?

BEST ANSWER: I purchased this dress in a petite length and have been extremely satisfied with it...in every way. It hasn't shrunk anywhere and I've worn it (and washed it) many times. BEST ANSWER: I have every one of these dresses and have found any wrap, sweater (pullover and cardigan), shirts worn over the dress and even shirts UNDER the dress work. This dress crosses over into every season. The most versatile and flattering dress I have. That's why I have 4 of them and am going to order the new color!
The dress listed as "Paisley" comes with a henna-colored swatch, whereas when you click on a turquoise paisley pattern swatch, it is described as "Henna". So, which to believe? If I want to order the turquoise, do I have to choose "paisley" even though it is illustrated by a rusty-reddish swatch, or vice versa? I would be hard to imagine, that, indeed, the name "Henna" could refer to a paisley blue pattern...

BEST ANSWER: 2" heels if you have shorter legs, and you could go to a shorter heel if you have longer legs. However, it really depends on the look you are after. Some women could wear flats - but it's a different look.

If you have shorter legs and want to wear shorter heels, I would shorten the length of the dress. You might also try a Petite size, but that may not fit the bust properly.

The bust on this dress is already a bit high.
would this dress work for a trip where I have to do sink washing, does it dry quickly, at least overnight?

BEST ANSWER: I did sink wash this dress one time when I was staying in a hotel. I hung it up overnight near the air conditioning vent so there was lots of air movement, and it was dry in the morning. I think how well the dress dries overnight will depend on the weather, how humid or dry the air is. (Don't hang it on the ceiling sprinkler in the hotel room, or it will end up very wet!)

BEST ANSWER: I have several Bella Coola dresses and, yes, they are washable. I usually hand to dry, but if you use a gentle drying cycle I would think they would be ok.

BEST ANSWER: No. I am five feet one and it was tea length on me. I didn't like that length so I hemmed it to just under the knee and I like it much better. Showing more leg makes a short person look taller. I feel and look much better at that length.

BEST ANSWER: I'm a 34B, petite. It gave me a nice full shape on top. I bought it for my daughters wedding (July outside country wedding). First dress I ordered and never looked for another dress. Fabric was so soft and not thin but not heavy and does not wrinkle. Literally carried it in a plastic bag to show to friends before the wedding, never a wrinkle. I love a dress you can put on and just feel and look good in!

BEST ANSWER: The measurement chart is quite accurate in terms of selecting a size. They have redesigned the dress to fit a bit more closely. I am 5'4" and have both misses and petite in this dress. The petite is the same dimensions in terms of measurements, but does fit much better on me, especially length.

BEST ANSWER: I would be a bit wary if I were you. I am a 34B, and ordered the Extra Small in this dress. It fits nicely; is comfortable in the bust. But for someone who is 34DD, the seams probably would be too short.

BEST ANSWER: I call having to pay for return shipping "a charge for returns" - so if about $10 doesn't bother you and it's an expensive item, it's still worth returning it. But I will be more careful about ordering from here in the future - no ordering 2 sizes to get the right fit knowing I'll return half the order.

BEST ANSWER: I believe mine is "Paisley"; bought it last year so can't be sure. Mine looked orchid/turq/hot pink in the catalogue so have worn it with a deep(hot) pink accessory. After cataract surgery, I realized that colors are actually turq. & brick red!! I still get compliments but don't pair it with the hot pink anymore!
