I love this paisley faux-wrap skirt, but I'm not sure if a medium would fit me. My waist measures 29 and my hips measure 42. What would you suggest?

Looking at the size chart, I would think you should get a Large. The skirt has give in it, but if you get the M, I'm afraid it would ride up and the wonderful "swing" of the skirt just wouldn't be there. In the L, if you sew at all and think it is too large in the waist, it would be easy to take the yolk in. I always wear a shirt over the skirt, so the waist fit doesn't really matter anyway. I love mine - bought 2 more after the first one! Hope this helps.

I love this skirt even though I wear a 3X. I find it comfortable and flattering and very easy care. I've never been a medium but i can't believe you would have any problem with the fit. I'd highly recommend this skirt.! Enjoy it!

There is some room in the body of the skirt but it depends how snug you want the fit. I would suggest ordering the M and the L and send back the one that doesn't fit right.

Absolutely do not go bigger than a Medium. We have similar measurements and I find the Medium size needing to be pulled up.
