I wear a Women's US 8 which is usually a EUR 39. However, the 39 in this boot felt too roomy so I went down to a 38 instead and it fits better. I would go down a size to at least a 38 (maybe a 37 since there are no 1/2 sizes in EUR equivalent). Good luck -- the boot is conformable, attractive, and warm!

I wear a size 9 and I ordered the 39 and it fit me perfect. I initially ordered the 40 but was way to big, gave to my daughter who wears a size 10. Fit her perfect. Hope this helps you out. Love the boots and very comfortable.

A 38 would be a 7.5. I have a pair in that size, and I normally wear a 7-8, depending on the shoe. These are a tiny bit big, but the space is perfect for warm, thick socks.

I ordered a size 37, that seem to be the closest to size 7 1/2. They fit well, not tight but snug with cotton socks.

Is the boot water resistant?

BEST ANSWER: The boots are made to be out in the elements and if you clean them and put a protective spray on them. These boots will last longer and would have a better ability to with stand water. If your asking, can I set into a deep water puddle that goes past the zipper? The water would only hold out for seconds before the zipper lets the water seep inn.

Yes, they are. I've worn these boots in rain & snow (normal walking around town, not through drenching storms) & my feet have stayed dry.

Yes - but - the foot opening is fairly low - almost shoe height so water resistant but don't step into anything deep.

No, I don't think it is a wide width boot. However, my foot is wider than average across the ball, & this boot is very comfortable. it is also very cute!
