The embroidery is beautiful, but it is not attached to a stiffer background as some embroidered belts I have are, so it doesn't feel up to anything more than decoration.
The one I received was marked as large, but I think it's more like 3X. I had been thinking I could wear it outside a sweater over jeans, but I'm looking for a new home for it.

Nice and colorful belt, which appears to have good workmanship the only drawback is that this belt is so wide it makes hard to get through most belt loops. However, if you want a belt to wear on the outside of your clothing it would make a great accessory.

Rated 5 out of 5 by FECR Was as pictured
The belt is as pictured; I bought the cream because of the versability of the colors. I went by the measurements in the catalog and ordered a medium although I wear size 2 or 4 pants. Needless to say, I had to return it for a small. The belt is wide and rather thick and running it twice through beltloops was just not going to work. Overall happy with the belt. Am thinking it will be a bit warm in the summer months but will have to wait and see about that.

This top fits very well. The ruching on the sides is slimming and attractive.

Rated 4 out of 5 by FS48 Nice accent piece.
The belt is wide, so best used as an accent piece over a long top. I got the L that was big, but looks good when folded over adding a design feature to the belt. It may stretch over time, so I am careful with it. Nice colors.

It may just be a fluke, and the rest of these belts are better constructed, but I had a rivet fall out as I was trying to put it in my jeans. Not sure whether I want to risk buying another or not.. Kind of pricey for this quality.

Pricey for a belt you say? Not when you consider the craftsmanship that the Peruvian artisans put into it. Be glad that they are getting a fair wage and you are getting a beautiful piece of embroidery that functions as a belt. Consider buying different patterns in different sizes to fit at your waist over a dress or tunic or to sling over your hips in jeans or just get a larger-than-you-need size and tuck the overage through a keeper or tie it over itself decoratively. These belts will give new life to old outfits and result in many comments.
