Rated 4 out of 5 by Sushi75 Nice boots, but small
These boots run quite small. I never have a problem fitting a size 10, but these boots pinch my feet too much to bear. I had to order an 11 (as there is no 10.5 available). They otherwise seem quite nice.

I bought a pair of these boots years ago and just loved them. I have worn them to death and am looking everywhere for a replacement pair.
I was excited to get a new pair this last spring but when I put them on I knew right away they were different. Gone was the rubber sole replaced by a hard plastic one. The first and last time I wore them my foot slipped off the gas petal. No accident but these are not safe to wear while driving.
Also the overall quality wasn't has nice as the original boots.
Please please bring back the original rubber sole boots. They where my go to boots and I really want another pair.

Rated 5 out of 5 by ahimsariel So happy with these boots.
These soft, suede-like boots fit like a dream. Not only are they vegan (a requirement for my shoes) but they fit over my calves, which are large. Others have complained about them scrunching down, but on me they fit perfectly. If Sahalie does make a narrower calf boot, I do hope they'll keep these as an option!

I love the way this boot looks on....for that reason (plus needing a pair of navy blue boots) I am keeping them. However....they do feel like a cheap, fake suede and are really not worth the price...at all! They fit true to size.

Rated 1 out of 5 by urchingoat I was shocked at the poor quality
I have ordered from Sahalie before and always been happy with my purchases. This one, not so much. I thought these boots would be a great, lightweight, slim-fitting option for my thin calves. After looking at them for several seasons and reading good reviews I finally ordered - at full price - and when they arrived, I could not believe the low quality of the materials. It's hard to describe - I have socks that are more substantial than the polyester material the boot shaft is made from. The shoe part was stiff, with what felt like cardboard making up the bulk of it - cheap and uncomfortable. The sole was cheap, hard plastic. And the product had an overwhelming chemical odor, like acetone - I didn't think that would ever go away. I would give 0 stars, if that were possible. Returned.

I loved the suede like fabric and green color, but the boots would not stay up on my 14.5 inch calves. I wanted the look shown with skirts and leggings, but even after sizing down the boot top was floppy and not sleek on the leg as pictured. If this boot was made with real suede or a man made material that would stay up and fit the leg it would work. If the boot had a rubber sole and a little give and support for the foot I would pay much more for it. Too bad it had to go back.

Rated 3 out of 5 by ESG123 Bring Back the Original Version!
I bought two pairs of these boots (black and brown) four years ago and have really enjoyed them. They are warm, comfortable, stylish, and so easy to pull on and off. When my black boots wore out last month, I immediately placed an order for a new pair. Alas, while the uppers are the same fit and fabric, the sole is made of very hard plastic (not the soft, cushiony rubber of the original version). I wouldn't mind so much, except that they leave difficult-to-remove black scuff marks all over my linoleum kitchen floor. Please, Sahalie, bring back the rubber soles!

Rated 2 out of 5 by Allie68 CUTE DESIGN CHEAP MATERIAL
I love the design of these boots, but was very dissapointed with the quality and fit. I am a true size 6, but sometimes get a 6.5 in order to put wool insoles in. They actually hurt my foot as the toe box is hard top and bottom and something was pinching at the side. They have some padding in the heel but not the ball of the foot. The soles are not cushy rubber, but hard black plastic. I tried to put insoles in, that actually made them more comfortable, but then they were too tight. Toyed with the idea of exchanging them for a 6.5 wide in order to accomodate padding and wool insoles, but decided they were not worth the money as they are a microfiber and not even real suede. Would consider paying the price if they were real suede and a softer rubber sole. I have black suede boots that I got last year (Easy Spirit) that were very inexpensive(outlet) and extremely comfortable. I must add I must were cushy shoes, as I am older, but the soles were very hard and hurt my feet. Way overpriced. Would expect Suede or Leather for that price.
