Women's Lace-Up Hikers
These boots are impressive!
I ordered these boots as a fall boot (fall in Alaska) and did not expect them to do well once the ice and snow arrived. Wow,! I was pleasantly surprised that they really do have good traction on wet ice, are still waterproof, and surprisingly warm. Even better, they fit great (9.5 in most brands), good quality, and get softer as you wear them.

I love these boots!
I ordered the black first using my new 20% discount. They are very comfortable. I put them on right out of the box and wore them all day. I didn't wait for another chance at a discount, I ordered the burgundy boots right away! If you are going to wear thick socks then get a half size larger. I have a narrow foot so I ordered my usual 7.5. Great with a weekend dress and jacket or jeans and sweatshirt! Everything I have ordered from Sahalie has been fabulous.

I like that they're waterproof
I do like these boots. I was looking for something I can wear to work, use on the motorcycle and were waterproof. You'd be amazed how hard it is to find waterproof boots! These definitely fit the bill, and they look good. That being said...what do you women wear for shoes on a regular basis that you think these are comfortable?! They have a very hard foot bed and no arch support. I'm on my feet most of the day at work, so I ended up getting arch support insoles for them. As for size, I bought these in 7 and a half - that is the size I get for tennis shoes and the half inch accommodates for some foot swelling. I had to re-order these in a size 8. I think they run a little small and narrow. Overall, I like these boots for their functionality, but not so much for their comfort.

Almost what I was looking for.
These boots are very pretty - except the soles. They seem too rugged for this style of boot - at least for wearing them with dresses. But I'm keeping them. I figure most people won't be concentrating on the soles of my shoes too much. Also, I have to lace the boots as tightly as possible for them to fit. Part of this issue may be that I wear a size 11. I assume shaft width increases as foot length increases. Alas, my legs are skinny, despite my large feet. But they are super-comfortable, cute, and soft inside. Haven't worn them out in the cold yet, but I suspect they will be warm.

Attractive and Solid
I purchased these boots in the bordeaux, size 11 and they fit true to size. They don't have any arch support, which works fine for me since I wear an orthotic anyway. Good quality, attractive and comfortable to wear.

Canadian made, they know about cold!
Normal size 7.5, ordered an 8M so that I can wear thick socks. The run just a small bit large, but not uncomfortably so. These required no break in period, after an exchange (the original pair received had a manufacturer's defect) I wore these for five days straight. Very comfortable, did some hiking through wet areas and my feet were dry and warm. Only concern would be the zipper area, not sure if it is waterproof or if leakage will occur. Well made boots that keep you feet warm when cold and cool when hot. Debating buying a second pair to rotate. The soles may even be resoleable, though no mention of a Goodyear welt. Worth the price but better if you have a coupon!

Hefty and good weight
This boot is sturdy and stylish. I wear orthodics and got one half size larger. It is definitely wide enough, thank goodness!

Cute, but for narrow calves.
I really liked these boots--they're attractive and well-made. But the tongue is unusually narrow and, unless I tied them very snugly, gaped at each side, leaving a little of my leg and sock visible. I think I have average ankles and calves. A wider tongue would have made all the difference since the laces allow for adjustment. They ran just a tad on the small size in terms of foot length as well. I reluctantly sent them back. (Also, on my short, curvy frame, the boots weren't very flattering--I think they would look better on someone with long legs, or very skinny legs.)
