These boots are everything I could have hoped for. I have been looking to replace my snow/ice boot gear for a while, and these fit the bill perfectly. As this is my first purchase with Sahalie, I could not be happier.

They're well-made for sure, but a bit clunky. I felt a little like Frankenstein walking around in them, which is why I'm returning them. For a certain type of fashionista, these are great boots. But they are a far cry from elegant, and that's what I'm looking for these days. They run small too - I had to exchange the 8 1/2s for 9s.

I especially like the look of the red boot, unique and functional
The fit was good, I'd probably ad a little cushion on the inside.
The toggles for me don't tighten enough but that is probably the way it was meant to be. It isn't a problem.

These are great, easy on and off , great traction soles on dirt, muddy trails . Perfect for style and function and they grab the snow.
Make sure u add room in size if you wear heavy wool rich socks like me, but merino wools or cotton will be true to size fit.
I love these boots. I wear them shopping and I wear them to hike with my chocolate lab. They are really nicely made from Canada , seriously shows quality style and function. ! Love my new black with fur boots!!!!!!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Hikergirl Runs smaller than the Interlaken shoe
I love the Interlaken shoe I bought on clearance this summer in my normal size 7.5. Unfortunately, the toe box in this Martino boot is shorter than the shoe. While an 8 probably would have fit, I also wish the red had been deeper.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Chris63 poorly design buckle system
While these boots are cute and warm, because the straps are leather they stretch and when buckled they don't stay shut. Also if you buckle them they way the company suggests you get intense pain on your instep because of the gathered, bunched up tongue flap. Not really worth the fashion statement.

The Alpine Hiker has it all. First they provide what no others can and that is style from the brushed metal snap buckles to the jazzy trim. Second they are water proof. Thrid they provide hefty traction and support. In onther words they are ALPINE COOL TRECKING.
