This is the 2nd pair of sheepskin insoles with charcoal I have purchased and I wear them daily in the winter. I have found that at first they are warm and comfy but tend to curl and fold and the sheepskin wears out fast. I recommend buying 2 pair at the same time and switching them out to make them last longer. The sheepskin could be thicker, definitely.

I have a pair of Sheepskin boots that have changeable insoles, and I like to change the insole every year, so they feel like new boots again. I used to buy the Sheepskin insole from the company I bought the boots from, but when I saw these on Sale at Sahalie, I bought 2 pairs at once because they are 30% less than what I paid before. However, when I received the insoles, I understand why they are so cheap, the sheepskins are very thin and poor quality, so is the Charcoal layer, doesn't seem to add a lot of cushion to your shoes. The Sheepskin insole I got from my boot company is at least half an inch thick, the fur is very dense and thick, but the fur on these Charcoal insole is so thin that they didn't stand up at all. I returned them immediately. The only positive thing about this purchase is that Sahalie handled the refund fast and painless. I guess if you want some Charcoal insole that does not add any bulk to your shoes, maybe you can try them, but don't expect them to give you any warmth or extra cushion.

I bought these to replace the insoles in my Merrell clogs, which are size 8.5. I ended up just cutting them back to size 11. They feel good and I hope they wear well.

I bought these last year for myself and to give as gifts - I do a lot of 10 mile hiking days and love how they absorb moisture, keeping my boots and feet sweat free and sweet smelling - this clearance price is a steal.
