MPOWERD Luci Solar Lantern
I bought this product to provide a little light for a few minutes a day in an unlit portion of my barn. I got it a week ago, charged it and have been using it ever since without recharging. I could see using it in many other places too.

Doesn't work at all!!!!
I was really looking forward to using this product on an upcoming camping trip--possibly buying a few more, but it has never worked despite trying it in different locations for different amounts of time. So disappointing!!

A cool concept and light
I bought two of the little Luci lanterns and have become a fan of the product and the company. We have used them car camping. They give a strong light - quite adequate for general tent lighting and for reading. Be aware: the light is bright white and a bit harsh, not warm.
Inflating them takes a minute of strong blowing, so I will think twice before backpacking with them. I'm just keeping my inflated, even when not in use. (I had to return one of the lanterns as it did not inflate properly. Sahalie replaced it for free.)
I really appreciate the global concern of the company - bringing solar lighting to the Third World. A good product from a company with an environmental and social conscience. Yay!

A brilliant, inventive, and cool gift for anyone
You don't have to be interested in hiking or camping to appreciate what an ingenious invention this little lantern is; you just have to live in a place where the electricity is likely to go out at some point. That's anywhere in the U.S.! This lantern is practically weightless, requires no more storage space than a folded handkerchief, and gives off enough light to read a book in the dark. And, as long as you can expose it to daylight after its 12-hour charge is spent, there's no need to worry about having a supply of fresh batteries on hand. I hope Sahalie continues to offer these. If not, I'll find some other way to get more.

Worth the money
I purchesed 6 of these, 5 were for Christmas presents for my children who are avid campers, and 1 for me in case of a power outtage. All of my children were absolutly thrilled with them and wondered where I had got them, of course I told them. When I ordered them, over the phone, and talking to the gentleman, he told me that he had not seen this item before and that he was also a camper and was going to order one himself.
I think they are wonderful and very much worth the money and really give off a lot of bright light..

Solar powered, compact, transparent. I have given them to a number of people and their question is...where did you get this???

A great item...small, lightweight...fantastic for backpacking...but also handy to keep in the car. ..keep handy during power outages. Love the company's mission to bring a light source to areas of the world with no electricity.

Looks cute and potentially useful
Certainly much safer than a gas lantern, with no nasty batteries to dispose of, this solar lantern appears to be 'green-ish' (although it still requires petroleum products to manufacture its shell). Its brightness may not be strong enough to illuminate the reading of a book from across a table, but at your shoulder it could easily. Two solar lanterns suspended from above, could light a game of cards at a camping table.
I'm keeping my inflated, hanging near a window with diffused light, so it will be fully charged in case of emergency power outage at home.
