lI have purchased these socks many years ago. I seem to recall that they were a little more stretchable. Everytime I put these newer version on, I feel like I could accidently rip them apart at their seams.
Also yes, they do keep your feel warm at night.

Wild Thangs are nice and warm. I wear a 7.5 shoe and the small fits fine. Was disappointed to get a hole after one wear.

This product runs very small
I ordered this product based on my shoe size and it was so small I could not get it over my foot. I returned it and got the next size up. While the foot fit was ok, it was still difficult to get on. No give to the fabric. Even the larger size was very snug over my ankle and leg. It is warm and soft though.

Just what I was looking for!!
I had been looking for what I call a slipper sock for sometime to no avail. I found Wild Thangs in your catalog which found its way into my mailbox. These warm & beautifully made "slipper socks" are EXACTLY what I've been dreaming of & waiting for. I liked the 1st pair so much I ordered another pair. I will not go it alone without Wild Thangs!! Thank you for this quality product!!

Best socks for sub-zero temps!
Based on the other reviews, I asked for a pair of these for Christmas, and have since bought 2 more pairs- love these socks!
With the sub-zero temperatures we've had in Michigan this winter, I'm so glad I had these socks- these were the only socks that I could wear with my boots that actually kept my feet warm without needing to wear a 2nd pair of socks. My only complaint is that I wish they weren't so expensive.
Regarding fit- I wear a size 6.5/7 and the XS fits me perfectly. The socks are pretty thick, so I find that they fit best with my boots & Danskos that I purposely bought a half size too big (for wearing with thick socks). The socks make my other shoes fit a bit too snug.

Great socks. Order up a size though!
Ordering up a size helps with putting these socks on! Warm!

These socks do not fit right at any size
The old "Wild Thangs" from a different supplier fit great. The new supplier is Acorn Socks, even though the catalog is still calling them "Wild Thangs." Acorn socks are a fine, heavy sock and all, but they are rigid in their construction. I bought these for someone with foot trouble and they simply do not fit properly. Size small is supposed to the be the right size, yet they did not make it past the ankle. Mediums are a struggle, but eventually can make it. The large are a bit baggy, but not a struggle to put on.
I really hope that Sahalie will return to selling Early Winters socks as their "Wild Thangs' brand. The Acorn socks are not working out. So expensive per pair, too! To me, it is not worth it.
