Rated 5 out of 5 by 2DogsandMe snuggly warm and comfy
Having been disappointed by the spray-foam-rubber-soled fleece-lined insoles(too thick and the foam crumbled-such a mess!)
I needed to try these felted Alpaca wool insoles- True, they are thin and soft - and dare I say floppy? (to handle) but I have the first pair in a very elderly shorty boot-style scenic sheepskin slippers- sole hides worn naked and chilly. Oh. how I knew I loved little Alpacas!! May I say what a pleasure it is to be able to stand* in my kitchen once again!! *Without winter boots donned I would have to dance while making my morning coffee... concrete block on concrete slab w/ minimal insulation which makes for an excellent meat locker ;)
The second pair went into my slip-on winter boots, I'll need to trim these for a better fit- they've a narrower heel ergo a bit of slippage, but I've the old ones to use as a pattern. They are renewed; warm, ready and raring to go!! And the third pair is for my heavy-duty waffle-iron boots... which I shall be wearing for the first time today because !!It is snowing!!! Yay!!
I am Snuggle Toes sold- although I'm wondering if the men's would be a wider cut for my wider-width shoes come this spring?

Rated 4 out of 5 by Snapsh0t Good & Warm
Why did I rate these good instead of excellent:? The first time I used them they shed a lot. My black socks were covered with tufts & strands of fur. I thought it'd happen after each use but it is subsiding. They also slid out of position when I first inserted my feet. That no longer happens. They've settled well into my boots & now I'd miss them if they were gone. They're a bit pricey. As mentioned in catalog, be sure your boots have some "wiggle room". For my boots, they're just what I needed to feel snug & comfy.

Nice and comfy at first, I ordered them to put in my slipper but have noticed they are sliding now. A little annoying. Would be nicer if they stayed in one place.

I was travelling to above the arctic circle and worried that my always cold feet would remain just that--cold. The snuggly toes inside my warm boots along with wool socks did the trick, no cold feet. I forgot to use them the first night I was out and my feet were cold. The next night I put the snuggly toes in my boot first and then my wool socks and my feet were warm all night, as I stood in awe watching the Northern lights.

Rated 5 out of 5 by jetsam Makes my pretty boots practical
This product is thin but warm and comfortable. I've tried adding sheepskin liners to boots and shoes, but they are stiff and take up too much space, interfering with fit. These seem to disappear except for adding warmth and a pleasant feel. Pricey, but I'll get more anyway.

Rated 2 out of 5 by ckm23 very dissapointed
this product did not come in 1/2 size, as i wear a 81/2, so i ordered a 9. the 9 was huge. more like a size 10, it was long in the heel and toe and uncomfortable, moved around in my shoe/boots. also very thin and not that warm, nothing to hold it in place like the sheerling sheep insoles i had bought b4. which i had wanted to buy instead, but these were only available, so took a chance on them. i tried wash and dry them to try to shrink, but they only shrunk in width, still too long! PLEASE get the sheep fur ones back!! they were stable, warm , stayed in place and u could cut to size, unlike these where u had to order a specific size. wud send back if had not washed to try to shrink. useless as a cut off sock stuck in my boot. shud give it only a 1 star, the only real positive thing they are soft. i stuck them in my house slippers, they still shift about.

I was looking for some way to keep my feet warm without wearing bulky socks that cramped my toes. I'm able to slip the insoles into all my shoes and boots for added warmth during these cold winter days.
